The Good Old Days
These are some of the old photos we found.
Our clubs event used to be known as "old peoples party". The Lionettes used to prepare the food while the Lions used their own cars to pick up the deserving senior citizens to St Cuthperts Church. We had entertainers to do sing-a-song, the Mayor was always present, we had rounds of bingo followed by tea, sandwiches and cakes. And finally, everyone was dropped back to their houses with a pot plant to look after.
